三条西実枝〈さんじょうにしさねき・1511-79〉は、室町時代末期から桃山時代にかけての公卿、歌人。右大臣公条〈きんえだ・1487-1563〉の子。初名実世（さねよ）、のち実澄（さねずみ）、さらに実枝と改名した。天文10年〈1541〉、31歳のとき権大納言に進むが、天文21年頃からは、駿河・甲斐・伊勢と転々と地方大名に身を寄せる生活を送る。天正７年〈1579〉に内大臣に昇るもすでに病重く、わずか２日にして拝辞し出家。その２日後に他界した。この詩懐紙は、20歳の実枝が参議に列した、享禄３年〈1530〉９月９日重陽の詩歌会の時のもの。すでにしっかりとした書法が手の中に入っており、堂々とした書きぶりである。祖父実隆〈さねたか・1455-1537〉を祖とする三条流の名手であった。「重陽、同じく「菊一時に秀ず」ということを賦する詩便ち香字を用う／参議右近衛権中将藤原実世／東籬の朝露、幾か恩光、賞するに堪へたり、黄花重九（九月九日、重陽の節句）の妝（しょう＝粧い）。応に是れ一時は君子の徳なるべし、霜余何れの処か清香ならざらん。」
