邦高親王〈くにたかしんのう・1456-1532〉は、伏見宮家第５代当主。貞常親王の第１王子で、母は庭田盈子。初め邦康と称したが、文明６年〈1474〉４月26日、加冠の儀が行われ、邦高と命名された。同日、後土御門天皇の猶子となり、６月19日親王宣下を受ける。７月３日、父貞常親王の死去により伏見宮家を継承した。同７年には式部卿に任ぜられ、翌年、二品に叙せられた。永正13年〈1516〉、61歳にして落飾、法名恵空を号した。享禄５年〈1532〉、77歳で没した。親王は、早くから今出川教秀に琵琶を習い、また飛鳥井雅親・三条西実隆に和歌を学んだ。家集に『邦高親王集』などがある。この和歌懐紙は、永正４年〈1507〉７月７日に催された詩歌御会のときのものである。「星夕の燈花」の題で漢詩と和歌の両方が詠まれた。これはその和歌の１枚。この年、親王は52歳。書流系譜では後柏原院流（後柏原天皇の書流）に属しているが、まさしくその特徴を見せる遺墨である。「七夕に「星夕燈花」ということを詠める和謌／式部卿邦高親王／たむけをく庭のともし火星合の空をも照らすかげや見ゆらむ」
