頼杏坪〈らいきょうへい・1756-1834〉は、江戸後期の儒者。名惟柔、字は千祺。杏坪・春草を号した。２人の兄春水（しゅんすい、儒者）・春風（しゅんぷう、医者）とともに大坂で修学、片山北海〈かたやまほっかい・1723-1790〉・服部栗斎〈はっとりりっさい・1736-1800〉に師事して儒学を修める。天明５年〈1785〉、30歳のときに広島藩儒に挙用され、藩内の学問教育に尽力、藩政にも敏腕をふるった。また、甥・山陽〈さんよう・1780-1832〉の幼児期の教育者でもあった。これは、自詠の七言絶句。整った行・草書の作品で、温和な文人風の書風を示す。
