五条為学〈ごじょうためざね・1472-1543。「ためたか」とも〉は、室町時代の公家。五条家は平安朝の漢学者として有名な菅原道真の末流で、歴代、漢詩文をもって朝廷に出仕した。為学は五条為親（ためちか）の子。明応５年〈1496〉少納言となり、その後、大内記・文章博士を歴任した。最後は正二位・権大納言に至る。天文12年〈1543〉72歳で没した。これは、位署から、為学が少納言の職に在任した、明応５年〈1496。為学25歳〉から永正13年〈1516。同45歳〉までの間のものと知る。某年９月９日重陽の歌会での詠歌である。暢やかで安定感のある筆致から、為学30代の筆と推定される。「九月九日、同じく「黄花（菊）、獨り香り有り」ということを詠める和歌／少納言菅原為学／咲きそむる菊ひともとの匂ひには千種の花もえやは及ばむ」
