冷泉為和〈れいぜいためかず・1486-1549〉は、室町時代の公卿で歌人。冷泉為広〈ためひろ・1450-1526〉の子。正二位・権大納言・民部卿に至る。大永年間〈1521～28〉ころまでは、主に京都で、歌道師範として活躍した。のち都の戦乱を避けて駿河国に下り、今川氏の庇護を受け、かれらに歌道を指南した。その関係から、通称を今川為和とも称する。天文17年〈1548〉２月、駿河において出家し、法名を静清（じょうせい）と号したが、翌年没した。書道史上、定家流を書いた最初の人物として注目される。この重陽の歌会での懐紙は、その位署から、永正３～７年〈1506～10〉に左近衛権中将となり、同12年〈1515〉７月（30歳）には右近衛督に転じるまでの間、すなわち、20代後半の筆跡と知る。すでに、書風は、定家流を忠実に踏まえたものになっている。「九月九日同じく「秋の蝶、籬の花を護る」ということを詠める倭歌／左近衛権中将藤原為和／幾秋を籬に込めて飛ぶ蝶の羽風も薫る白菊の花」
