伝世尊寺行俊筆の古今集切である「長良切」の為に了信が記した極札11通です。すべて二重に包まれており、上包には「世尊寺殿行俊卿〈名葉/長良切〉極」とあり、各々の切の情報が書き添えられています。中包は例のように「極札」と記されるのみです。極札の表には、「世尊寺殿行俊卿〈長良切/〔書き出し〕〉「琴山」(印)」とあり、裏には「〈名葉/古今集〉四半切 戌子一「了信」(印)」と記した上で、各々の切の形状や歌の一部などを書き加えています。切の銘や書入れなどは、一般的な極札には書かれないものなので、枚数が多いことなどを考慮したものと思われます。「戌子」は昭和 23 年で、no.43の「辛卯」の3年前になります。終戦後の混乱が続く中で、古筆切と極札が量産されていたのです。（佐々木）
