綴葉装の3紙分からなる歌仙歌集本『貫之集』巻9の残簡(大観884〜902)です。5丁目表には、「貫之家(ママ)集第八」1冊を二条為定(1293ー1360)真蹟と鑑定した、万治2年(1659)8月下旬の初代了佐の奥書極があります。この奥書と次の遊紙の丁は、新しい紙を繋ぎあわせたものであり、また本文の最終丁の裏は、冒頭2行を残して8行分が剥ぎ取られています。古筆切の製作と書物の修復が表裏一体であることがよくわかります。筆者・集名に「名葉帰洛切」と記し、了佐奥書の情報を了信が記した包紙には、「昭和廿五年一月」と整理した時期も示されています。no.14『昭和古筆名葉集』やno.15『〔写本名葉集〕』にも当該する記述が見えず、新しく分割された新名物であると思われます。包みの中に、了信が刷罫紙に奥書を含めて書写した1 紙が入っています。（佐々木）
