古筆手鑑と共によく作られたのが貼交屏風です。昔の日本の家屋では、空間の仕切りや装飾として屏風を多用したので、古筆切や短冊色紙などを美的に貼り込んだ屏風が多く作られました。手鑑は普段閉じてあるので、切の保存に適しますが、広げたままにされることの多い屏風の切は、日焼けしたり傷んでいたりしがちです。茶色く変色した切や短冊・色紙などをよく見かけますが、それらの多くは屏風から剝がされたものなのです。使用目的に応じて屏風にも様々な種類がありますが、この屏風は高さが約2尺5寸で、通常の半分くらいの大きさです。鑑定書を伴わない20点の切・短冊・色紙の外、飛鳥井雅親(1417ー1491)筆との了佐5男了雪(1612ー1675)の極札を伴う、未詳連歌発句集巻子本断簡が貼られています。屏風2扇の幅に合わせて巻子本が切断されていることには驚かされます。（佐々木）
