細川政国〈ほそかわまさくに・?-1495〉は、室町時代後期の武将。８代将軍足利義政〈あしかがよしまさ・1436-90〉の家臣。実父は細川持春〈もちはる・1400-66〉。細川持賢〈もちかた・?-1468〉の養子となり、応仁２年〈1468〉持賢の死去により典厩（左右馬寮の唐名）家当主となる。文明元年〈1469〉11月右馬頭に任ぜられ、同２年には従五位上に叙せられる。文明５年〈1473〉細川勝元〈ほそかわかつもと・1430-73〉が没すると、幼少の聡明丸（政元）を数年間後見した。文明17年〈1485〉出家して道勝（どうしょう）と号し、禅寺を建てて移り住み、禅昌院（ぜんしょういん）と名付けた。詩歌を好み、五山の僧などとしばしば詩歌会を催した。この短冊は、「道勝」の署名のあるところから、出家後の筆跡と知る。筆線にも老筆を感じる。料紙は、藍と紫の雲紙。「ちりひぢ」は「塵泥」の意だが、『古今和歌集』仮名序の「高き山も麓のちりひぢよりなりて…」の叙述から、山との関連で詠まれることが多い。歌題の「寄山恋」は別筆。
