正親町三条実任〈おおぎまちさんじょうさねとう・1264-1338〉は、正親町三条家の祖、公氏〈きんうじ・1182-1237〉の曾孫。右中将公種（きんたね）の子。はじめ実名（さねかた）と名乗り、弘安10年〈1287〉従四位下に叙せられてからは実任と改名した。以後、参議・権大納言・中納言に任ぜられる。治部卿や民部卿をはじめ、種々の公務で活躍し、暦応元年〈1338〉75歳で没した。和歌に優れ、『続千載和歌集』以下の勅撰集に10首、『続現葉集』『臨永集』などの私撰集にも入集した。これは「月」と題する和歌で、歌題の右肩に部立（ぶだて・和歌の分類区分。春・夏・秋・冬・恋・離別・羇旅・物名・哀傷・雑などがある）を示す「恋」の字が添えられている。料紙は素紙。懐紙を６等分して作成するという、短冊の初期の形態を示すものである。題と歌には墨色の違いがあるが、筆跡・署名などの酷似から当人一筆に書写したものと思われる。「実任」の署名により、改名後の24歳以降の執筆と知る。流麗で格調高い筆致である。
