薄以緒〈すすきゆきお・1494-1555〉は、唐橋在数〈からはしありかず・1448-96〉の子。薄以量〈1436-96。本姓は橘〉の養嗣子となる。天文６年〈1537〉44歳でようやく叙位され、その後、美濃守・左衛門佐・宮内卿を経て、同24年〈1555〉５月27日、参議に至った。が、その日の酉刻（午後６時頃）より中風を煩い、翌日他界した。62歳であった。ゆるやかな筆致で、雲紙の短冊に書写する。歌題は後奈良天皇〈ごならてんのう・1497-1557〉の勅筆。
