愛宕通福〈おたぎみちとみ・1634-1699〉は、江戸時代の公卿。英彦山権現座有清の三男。木工頭岩倉具尭の孫にあたる。中院通純の養子となる。義兄弟に中院通茂、野宮定縁らがいる。通福はその後、愛宕家を立てた。元禄７年〈1694〉従二位に叙せられ、権大納言に任ぜられたが、翌年、辞任した。この詩懐紙は、寛文８年〈1668〉に従三位に叙せられてから、延宝３年〈1675〉に正三位になるまでの間に書かれたもの。35歳から42歳である。「春の日、同じく「水樹多佳趣」ということを賦す詩題中に韻を取る／従三位源通福／鳳池浮緑影婆娑広被春風鳥韻和又覚君息如水徳津々佳色柳絲多」
