萩原員従〈はぎわらかずつぐ・1645-1710〉は、江戸時代の公卿。錦小路頼直の三男で、母は清閑寺共房のむすめ。初名は信成で、のち信康と改名。明暦３年〈1657〉豊臣秀吉を祀る豊国神社の祠官、萩原兼従の養子となり、員従と改名する。寛文５年〈1665〉幕府から豊国廟再興の許しを得る。元禄15年〈1702〉正三位に進む。この和歌懐紙は、延宝５年〈1677〉１月19日の御会始で書かれたもの。当時、員従は33歳であった。「春の日、同じく「春情有鴬」ということを詠める和歌／左衛門佐藤原員従／風冴えてまた雪消えぬ園のうちも春しりそむる鴬の声」
