中山篤親〈なかやまあつちか・1656-1716〉は、江戸時代中期の公卿。正親町実豊〈おおぎまちさねとよ・1620-1703〉の三男で、初名は熙季。権大納言中山英親〈なかやまひでちか・1627-74〉の養子となった。篤親は貞享４年〈1687〉権中納言となり、元禄９年〈1696〉12月28日、従一位・権大納言に任ぜられるまで在職だが、この懐紙は、まさに権大納言に昇るその年の、正月９日の御会始で書かれたものである。時に篤親、41歳であった。「春の日、同じく「若菜、時を知る」ということを詠める和歌／権中納言藤原篤親／諸人の摘むとも尽きじ君が経む千世の春しる野べの若菜は」
