里村昌琢〈さとむらしょうたく・1574-1636〉は江戸時代初期の連歌師。昌叱〈しょうしつ・?-1603〉の子。母は、里村紹巴〈じょうは・1525-1602〉のむすめ。生まれながらに連歌の血脈を受け継いだ。初名は景敏。慶長４年〈1599〉26歳ごろから昌琢を名乗った。同13年に法橋に叙せられ、寛永３年〈1626〉後水尾天皇より古今伝授を受けた。同９年には法眼となっている。歌集『発句集』『類題名所和歌集』などを残し、のちの貞門・談林の俳諧に著しい影響を与えた。かれは、書流系譜には定家流の能書として掲げられる。が、現存の遺墨は、いずれも当時の公卿通行の持明院流に近い書風を示している。「「梅、佳色有り」ということを詠める和歌／法橋昌琢／花の色よのつねならぬ梅枝をかざしに挿すといはふ君かな」
