庭田重保〈にわたしげやす・1525-95〉は、庭田重親〈しげちか・1495-1533〉の子。正二位・権大納言に至る。庭田家は、代々、神楽で笛を吹くことを家業とした。尊鎮流の能書として知られる。歌題「梅久薫」の懐紙（No.00896-0020）と比較してほぼ同時代の筆跡で、重保60歳頃のものと思われる。「春の日、「若菜、遐年を契る」ということを詠める和歌／按察使重保／鶴の棲む浅沢水の春の色に若菜も千代の陰深むらん」
