『大般若波羅蜜多経』（巻第二八六）巻末部分の断簡。末尾に「句切了永恩」と朱筆の書き付けがあり、「永恩具経」の一部であったことを知る。「永恩具経」は、もともとは、鎌倉時代初期、興福寺の蔵主（経蔵をつかさどる僧）永恩〈えいおん・1167-?〉が、奈良時代から平安時代所期の書写になる『大般若経』を取り合わせ、600巻１セットとして、自らの氏神たる河内国高安郡（大阪府八尾市）の玉祖神社に奉納したものである。これらには共通して巻末に朱筆で「句切了永恩」と記している。また、これに伴う年紀が、貞永元年〈1232〉と天福元年〈1233〉に限られるところから、取り合わせがこの両年にわたって行われたことを知る。現存の遺品をみると、完本のいずれもが、もと巻子本であったものを折本に改装している。転読供養の際の読経を簡易化するための工夫である。この断簡は、さらに掛幅装に改められている。
