中心に配置される像には露出する肋骨が認められることからVarim様式にまつわる資料であると考えられる。像の下部にある弧状の意匠は船を描写したものであろうか。像の身体は葉の意匠が描かれた後に赤色で彩色され、左右の意匠は白色で全体を彩色した後に赤色と黒色で描かれている。嵌入された貝を中心とする複数の同心円と幾何学模様、放射状の線描で構成されるこの精緻な意匠はeye of fireと呼ばれ、これはニューアイルランド地域で収集されたパンダナスの帽子や樹皮布、カプカプなどに広く認められる表現である。中央の像の掌にも同様の意匠が描かれている。現在までに確認できた類例資料はケ・ブランリ博物館の所蔵資料のみであることから、当資料は極めて特異な形態を持つ資料であるといえる。

As a prototype feature, the Keio Object Hub uses AI (machine learning) to generate keywords for searches and filtering.
For the first launch, Google Cloud's Vision API will be used to analyze the images of each object and automatically generate keywords.
