寺田無禅〈てらだむぜん・?-1691〉は、江戸時代の書家。京都の人。無禅は号で、名は正忠。通称は石見（いわみ）。近衛家に７代にわたって仕え、一説には119歳の長寿であったとも伝えられる。書は藤木敦直〈ふじきあつなお・1582-1649〉に学んで上代様を能くし、儒学・和歌・連歌・茶の湯・禅学にも通じた、当時の文化人の一人でもあった。口号（こうごう）とは詩歌・俳句などを口ずさみながらつくる即興的な詩句のこと。80余歳の年の瀬に、無禅は、老いた自分を諧謔味あふれる狂歌に詠んで、明るく笑いを誘っている。年齢を感じさせない健筆ぶりはさすがである。「八旬余の老拙、又、歳暮の口号。年寄りを梅干しの様なという事は重なる老の師（皺）走なりけり。一笑、一笑。十二月九日無禅」
