打撃部には四⾓錐形の瘤状突起が段違いに隙間なく配置され、石突は円錐形に⼤きく張り出している。この⽯突の形状は慶應大コレクションに含まれる棍棒の多くに共通する特徴。シカゴ・フィールド博物館に所蔵される小嶺コレクションにも同形状の棍棒が含まれており、それらはニューブリテンより収集されたとの記録が残されている。他機関の収蔵品を見てみると、ニューブリテン島バイニング Baining 族から収集された資料に類例が確認されるが、ガゼル半島の諸族と交流のあるニューアイルランド島南部の海岸地域にも同様の棍棒が分布するといわれる。

As a prototype feature, the Keio Object Hub uses AI (machine learning) to generate keywords for searches and filtering.
For the first launch, Google Cloud's Vision API will be used to analyze the images of each object and automatically generate keywords.
