黄檗で染めた黄麻紙に薄墨の界（罫線）を引いて『大般若波羅蜜多経』（全600巻）を書写する。巻第五五六「第五分善現品第一」の断簡（１紙分）である。「大般若経」１具600巻の書写供養のうちの一部と推定される。謹厳で力強い筆法の筆致は、奈良時代中期の典型である。
