シロチョウガイの厚みのある蝶番部を利⽤した釣針。アドミラルティ諸島で⾒られる同形態の釣針は、⼀般的にタカセガイ科の⾙殻の内側部分を切り出して製作されている。これらは釣り⽷を付すための切込みを持たず、パリナリウムの樹脂で作った膠着剤で両者を固定したと記録されており、本資料群の多くにもその痕跡と思われる⿊⾊固着物が認められる。
