『称讃浄土仏摂受経』の巻頭部分８行の断簡。『称讃浄土仏摂受経』（１巻・玄奘訳）は、鳩摩羅什訳の『仏説阿弥陀経』の異訳本で、厖大な経典の中でも短いために、数多く書写することに功徳を求めた写経供養には最適の経典であった。たとえば、「正倉院文書」に見える「千巻経」の名で記録される写経の一部であったか。謹厳な楷書体、勁く鋭い筆法は、明らかに奈良時代・８世紀書写の写経の特徴を遺憾なく示している。
