動物を象った木製の彫像。青・黒・白・黄色で彩色されている。白色の部分には赤色顔料がわずかに付着している。胴部には何かを嵌入したと思われる窪みがある。
ニューブリテン島ガゼル半島においては秘密結社イニエット Iniet への加入時（WardWell 1994: 122）やトーライ Tolai の人々によるクラウ Kulau と呼ばれる舞踏の際に木製人形を用いる。クラウでは男性が舞踏人形を両手に持つが、これらが使用される際には女性が踊ることはできない。舞踏における音楽の構成や踊りの振り付け、儀礼用具は、それらに関する才能に恵まれた男女によって製作される。平時はクラウで使用する他の装飾品とともに神聖な小屋で保管されている（Kjellgren 2007: 156）。

As a prototype feature, the Keio Object Hub uses AI (machine learning) to generate keywords for searches and filtering.
For the first launch, Google Cloud's Vision API will be used to analyze the images of each object and automatically generate keywords.
