寂源一如〈じゃくげんいちにょ・1630-96〉は、江戸時代前期の天台宗の僧。書博士藤木敦直〈1582-1649〉の四男として京都に生まれ、江戸の今出川晴季〈1539-1617〉の猶子となる。俗名は宗直。僧となり實源と称し、のち寂源と改める。号は一如。寛文９年〈1669〉、筑後久留米・高良大社の五十世座主となり、貞享〈1684～88〉年中、権僧上。晩年は、洛北鷹ヶ峰に隠棲した。幼少より父敦直に筆道（大師流から創成された賀茂流・甲斐流の書）を学ぶ。また、父の門弟本庄道芳〈1604-68〉より書法を授かり、世に能書の誉れが高かった。甥の藤木生直〈1656-99〉に入木道を教授。また、詩歌にも通じ、多くの公卿と交わった。元禄９年〈1696〉、67歳で没す。額字とは、禅院の建物の門外に掲げる額の文字で、寺名・軒号・室銘などを表わす。この作品はそのうちの軒号に属するもの。典型的な賀茂流書法を示す。
