金泥で二重の界を引き、界の上下欄外には金銀の砂子を微塵に撒いた料紙に『法華経』信解品第四を書写した装飾経の断簡。もとは、『法華経』二十八品に開結二経（『無量義経』『観普賢経』）を加えた30巻１セットに成ったものと推定される。その装飾技巧が、長谷寺（奈良）や慈光寺（埼玉）・宝厳寺（滋賀）蔵の装飾法華経の遺品と同趣であることから、その成立は鎌倉時代初期・13世紀のものと判断される。
