On the left side of this mirror is a pagoda, or multi-story structure, while to the right is a towering tree, and underneath, a bridge. Figures of people are visible around the bridge, but the dragon under it suggests that the world of immortals is depicted here. Similar pictorials appear in Sung mirrors, evidencing a brisk cultural exchange between China and Goryeo (today’s Korea).
