花と鳥の文様を組み合わせたもの。こうした情景は漢詩にも多く描かれるところであり、漢詩からの影響も多分に受けているものと思われるが、王勃（おうぼつ）の「上皇甫常伯啓」など、唐時代の詩人はしばしば鵲（カササギ）鏡を詩に詠んでおり、鳥を刻した唐鏡が逆に唐詩に影響を与えていたさまを知ることができる。
