The motif using a feathered beast was developed from that of a coiled dragon and was frequently used during the Period of Warring States (Ch. Zhanguo or Chan-kuo; Jap. Sengoku). The mirror has a spoon-like edge. Mirrors of this kind often have a central knob with a three-ridge design.

As a prototype feature, the Keio Object Hub uses AI (machine learning) to generate keywords for searches and filtering.
For the first launch, Google Cloud's Vision API will be used to analyze the images of each object and automatically generate keywords.
