巻頭下部に「水尾浄土寺」とある。同様の記載をもつ『大般若経』巻第一三一が大和の長弓寺（聖武天皇の勅願により行基が創建。生駒市上町）に所蔵される。その奥書には「尼静安仕奉願」とあり、尼・静安（不詳）の発願の「大般若経」600巻の一部であったことを知る。水尾浄土寺は、京都嵯峨水尾にかつて存在した古刹であったと思われる。書風により、明らかに奈良時代（８世紀）の写経。料紙は奈良時代通行の黄麻紙。

For the first launch, Google Cloud's Vision API will be used to analyze the images of each object and automatically generate keywords.
