飛鳥井雅春〈あすかいまさはる・1520-94〉は、雅綱〈まさつな・1489-1563〉の子。初名は雅教（まさのり）。63歳で雅春と改名した。順調に累進し、天正３年〈1575〉には正二位・権大納言に至った。代々蹴鞠・歌道を家業としてきた飛鳥井家の名にふさわしく、雅春も歌人として重んじられた。天正16年〈1588〉４月には、豊臣秀吉〈とよとみひでよし・1536-98〉が興行した後陽成天皇〈ごようぜいてんのう・1571-1617〉の聚楽第和歌会に供奉し、発声（講師のあとを受けて、節をつけて歌をよみあげること）の役をつとめた。書においては、曾祖父である雅親〈まさちか＝栄雅・1417-90〉を祖とする栄雅流（えいがりゅう＝飛鳥井流）の能書の一人。この短冊は署名に「雅教」とあることから、63歳以前のものと分かる。
