古筆了伴〈こひつりょうはん・1827-53〉は、江戸時代後期の古筆鑑定家。古筆本家第10世。了意〈りょうい・1751-1834〉の子。名は最恒（よしつね）。嘉永６年〈1853〉、27歳で早世した。詞書にある「ひげこ（髭籠）」とは、細い竹や針金で編み、編み残した端を髭のように延ばした籠のことで、端午の幟（のぼり）の頭につけたり、贈り物などを入れるのに用いた。また、「鳥の子餅」は鶴の子餅ともいい、鶏の卵の形をした扁平な餅で、紅白２種をつくり、祝い事に用いる品。歌の内容から、誕生日の祝儀に贈った短冊と思われる。細々と書かれたその筆跡は、古筆家代々に共通してみられる書風である。
真珠翁よりひげこに鳥の子餅あまた入て送りけるを賀して： 鳥の子をとをづゝ十をかさねてやきみが齢のかずにかぞへむ了伴
