『大唐内典録』（全10巻）の巻第三の断簡。『大唐内典録』は、麒麟元年〈664〉、中国・唐の僧道宣〈どうせん・596-667〉が編纂した仏教経典目録である。後漢から唐初期にかけて漢訳された経典800部3361巻の経典名を収録する。隋代に作られた３つの目録を基盤に、訳された年代順の編年目録と、道宣が住持する西明寺（長安）所蔵の経典の分類目録を併記したのが特徴である。しかし、開元18年〈730〉に『開元釈教録』（1076部・5048巻を収録）が成立すると、以後はこの5048巻が一切経の標準目録とされた。「正倉院文書」によれば、両目録ともにすでに将来されていたことが知られる。以後、平安時代を通じて、一切経といえば『開元釈教録』の5048巻であると認識されるようになった。それ以前の奈良時代には『大唐内典録』による一切経書写が行われていたことを実証する貴重な資料として、この断簡の存在は意義深いものといえる。
