広橋兼秀〈ひろはしかねひで・1506-67〉は、守光〈もりみつ・1471-1526〉の子。権中納言・権大納言を経て、弘治３年〈1557〉従一位・内大臣に昇った。この間、神宮伝奏、賀茂伝奏をつとめた。同年52歳で出家、鈎寂（こうじゃく）と名乗り、永禄10年〈1567〉８月５日、62歳で没した。書流系譜においては後柏原院流にその名を連ねる。この短冊の歌題は別筆。
