冷泉為綱〈れいぜいためつな・1664-1722〉は、冷泉為清〈れいぜいためきよ・1631-68〉の子。後年出家して、法名を智堂（ちどう）または性覚（しょうかく）と号した。従二位・権中納言に至る。享保７年〈1722〉に59歳で没。家伝の書流たる定家流に巧みで、この短冊にもその面目が躍如とする。歌題は別筆。
