冷泉為清〈れいぜいためきよ・1631-68〉は、藤谷為賢〈ふじたにためかた・1593-1653〉の二男で、冷泉為治〈れいぜいためはる・1626-50〉の養嗣子となる。正四位下・左近衛中将に至る。寛文８年〈1668〉正月２日、38歳で没した。この短冊は、金砂子を散らし、その合間に金泥で蝶・草花の下絵が描かれた美しい料紙を用いる。書は家祖・定家の風を受けた定家流で、特徴的な筆致を巧みにこなしている。
